I look at whether I can market it for a profit. Don’t take this to mean I will sell my soul for a profit. If I am personally interested in it that is a bonus. You have to do your market research carefully and too many people do their market reasearch based on themselves. Eg did you ever see a female working in a men’s clothes shop? You don’t have to use the the product yourself to sell it.
