Introducing Embedded Youtube Plugin
This project was in the back burner. In January, I had decided that I would release one Plugin every month to the public for free. It has been long overdue, until now. This week, I had my programmer friend work on a Plugin idea, that I thought of 2 weeks back.

Monetizing Your Facebook App
This post was guest blogged by Michael Conrad from Make Money Online blog.
Since it was released, thousands of users on Facebook have taken their turn in trying out Facebook’s API’s. The programs range from simple games to mini book stores. At first, these programs were created for the user to have something interesting to put on their page, but the developers got smart. They said, why should we spend so much time making these programs when we don’t receive anything back from them? That is where monetization came into play.
Facebook allowed the developers to display an unlimited number of advertisements in their programs. Developers got to work including advertisements on their download pages and inside the actual programs. After some testing, it was realized that contextual advertising was probably not the best route, so developers focused on promoting affiliate links, or links that send you to a product page. Instantly, developers started to see profits skyrocket as users would them their program to other users, and thus more people would click on the links.

Sunday Blogbits – Micro Niche Marketing Update
It has been couple weeks now that I haven’t posted an update on the Micro Niche Marketing Project. To refresh, I am building a niche blog on Acne Cure at AcneCure. The reason why I did not update is because there literally was nothing happening. The progress had completely stalled after I moved to the new domain.
Google has been indexing the blog regularly and almost all articles are currently included in Google’s database. I am updating the blog once every 5 days. The major update I have is that 2 of the main keywords have appeared in Google’s search results. One of the keywords is on the front page while the other is on page 4. Both the keywords have good search volume every month.
The links are also finally showing up in Yahoo and other databases. As of now, the Search Engines have indexed about 130 backlinks. In total, I have built about 600 backlinks spreading over 6-8 keywords. In my opinion, the results are slowly beginning to show. In the coming few weeks, we should see some major progress in terms of keyword positioning and search engine traffic . The project, let’s say is entering the critical mass mode.
Stay Tuned while I bring you more in the next few weeks!

Link Building Tips from My Experience
This is a guest blog post by Scott Hughes, administrator of the Philosophy Forums
I have read a lot of lists of ways to build links. Most of the ways have not worked well for me or just did not apply to my websites. However, I have tried a lot of different methods, and I will tell you some methods that have worked well for me.
Article Marketing – Basically, article marketing means you write articles and submit them to article directories. With the articles, you include an “about the author” section with a link or two back to your website. This can also be a good way to get traffic directly, especially if your articles get picked up and republished on a popular website or ezine. The disadvantage is that search engines will not value the links that much if the content is not unique. In other words, it does not help much to publish the same article to multiple directories.

Review Thursday – An appeal to my readers
I did not find any product worthy of a review this week. I admit, there are many worthwhile products in the market, and I do have a few of them. The reason why I am not reviewing them is lack of experiments. I want to try and experiment a product before I can review it. I know this isn’t possible always, but I will try to follow this principle for as long as I can.
So, all said and done, we are without a review this week. Let me use this excuse to get a break. By the way, before I close, 1. I believe Google Reader is down and not syndicating the feeds. So, if you have subscribed to my blog using Google, you may have received this late. Look for a backup! 2. Please try and leave a comment after you read my posts. This has a greater purpose than just a few lines.
