With plenty of recent uproar in the blogging world, it seems that there has been some kind of evolution going on. Everywhere we look there are more and more bloggers that don’t follow the old schools of blogging anymore. These men and women mean business and they don’t shut up about it either. In some instances business actually means directly attacking other bloggers for what they stand for and what they do. This has created a huge rift, both in the general make money blogging industry and in internet marketing terms. A-list bloggers such as John Chow, Darren Rowse, Yaro Starak and Shoemoney are but a few who got “attacked” by other bloggers who simply don’t share their views on how they do business online.

The bloggers taking side with the “guerrilla bloggers” believe that it was high time somebody came online pointing fingers at those who have taken advantage at Internet and blogging newbies for some time now. Those who side with the so called A-listers in the industry call these guys a bunch of losers.

My question to you is, what do you believe in? Do you feel that the truth has to be spoken and if yes, on what grounds. Or do you feel this revolution is all just hot air and no substance?

Either way, most likely we are passionate about our beliefs and defend them, regardless of what’s to come. But here is the twist. What if the other party had some of their points correct? What if the lines were actually a lot more blurred than direct?

You see, sometimes regardless of what we believe in we have to stop and take a closer look at what our opposition says. Most of us don’t like to admit that we were wrong and the longer we try to drive a certain point home for the sake of defending our beliefs, the more we might fall into a trap that leads us further and further from the actual truth.

As it happens, in life not everything is black and white. So why should it be in the online world?

It seems to me we have forgotten to respect each other, regardless of our beliefs. This is strongly reflected in the ways we interact with each other cross culturally and also on different spectrums of online marketing.

I wonder how far we will take this and what will come out of it. The reason I’m writing this post is not to make any accusations against anybody, but merely trying to evoke a discussion on our different views.

Perhaps this will give a more detailed insight into why we act like we do and will allow us to learn a little bit more about our actual opposition, whoever they may be. In the end it all comes down to respecting each other, regardless of the views we have? Perhaps this is in some ways a rather realistic view/idea of how life should be and is hardly reflected in the world these days.

What do you do when you find yourself in the middle of a blogging war of politics?

Are you merely an amused bystander, watching the action unfold?

Are you taking sides, stating and defending your views, regardless of the outcome?

Or do you choose to ignore the whole spectacle for the sake of your peace of mind?

I’d love to get your feedback on this to gain further insight into this phenomena.

This is one topic that has been over-hyped by Internet Marketers for nearly a decade now. I have personally been seeing it since past 7 years. Right from the time I entered the Internet Business industry, I have seen this being talked about over and over again.

So, is Multiple Streams of Income really a myth? How many success stories have you heard where people were earning from multiple sources, some passive and some active? How many sources are you personally earning from? Many of the people I met in the beginning, who were all hyped about this syndrome, are still in their day jobs and haven’t made a red cent from the gazillion opportunities of the Internet.

Nevertheless, this syndrome is real. It isn’t a myth. It really is possible to earn from multiple sources if one knows how exactly to do it. The typical newbie, in his/her pursuit of making money, will be working on a dozen different programs, hoping to make a buck from all of them, thus failing miserably. They do not understand the power of focus I discussed in my earlier post. They are not able to fathom the thought that it takes focus, determination and patience to build and establish and business and then the process is repeated over and over again.

The average newbie is looking at earning an online living in less than a month or in a span of few weeks, which obviously is the road to a miserable failure. The real way to build multiple streams of income is to build them one by one, establish them, earn from them, see the ROI, and then move onto the next one.

The Multiple Streams of Income is not a myth. It can be achieved. What are your experiences? I wanna know.

Often, in the pursuit of wealth and abundance, we forget the fundamental necessities of our lives.

In my exercise, the one positive characteristics I noticed, I developed was the power to focus. My introspection contained the questions “What is it that keeps me going?, How have I tackled life after the breakdown of my health?”, etc and I realized I had developed a powerful feature inside me. The Power to Focus.

Take a look at yourself. You have been online for a few weeks, few months or a few years, in the hope of making a living online. You have either barely made it or miserably failed. Take no offense, because I mean it in a good way. The fact that you read my blog proves that you are looking for that hidden gem. Why do you think you haven’t cracked the magic moment?

Lack of Focus. This is one reason why you aren’t where you planned to be when you set out your journey. Among the ingredients you collected, you forgot about Focus. This is what most of us do. This is what I did too. I literally wasted about 3 years jumping from one opportunity from another. It taught me valuable lessons but my pockets were always empty.

If you are just starting online and if you are reading this, then work on your weak areas as well as your strong areas, and if focus is your weakness, then work on it. Add re-enforcement. This one quality will propel your online career by leaps and bounds.

My health honestly does not permit me to go on. I hope you have understood my point. Do your research, pick a niche and stick to it. Success and wealth will follow.

Oh, by the way, what has been your experiences lately? I would love to hear about them.

I did not find any product worthy of a review this week. I admit, there are many worthwhile products in the market, and I do have a few of them. The reason why I am not reviewing them is lack of experiments. I want to try and experiment a product before I can review it. I know this isn’t possible always, but I will try to follow this principle for as long as I can.

So, all said and done, we are without a review this week. Let me use this excuse to get a break. By the way, before I close, 1. I believe Google Reader is down and not syndicating the feeds. So, if you have subscribed to my blog using Google, you may have received this late. Look for a backup! 2. Please try and leave a comment after you read my posts. This has a greater purpose than just a few lines.

Comments are nothing but opinions. Your opinions matter a lot to me as a writer. It can help me grow. Apart from that, your comments are a fuel for my vehicle called thought. They keep it fired up all the time and help me fall a prey to de-motivation. I am a human being too. I put in a lot of effort to create good and useful posts. When I do not hear from my readers, my initial impression is, “nobody is reading what I write, so should I continue?”

Lately, I have been reading a bit about the Private Label Rights industry. In the writers network, it is popularly referred to as PLR content. When I came across this industry for the first time, I had completely discredited them, primarily due to the duplicate content theory.

In the case of PLR content, the problem is even bigger. You join a PLR membership site and share a pack of articles every month with anywhere between 200-1500 members. It is duplicate content problem multiplied because each one is paying for the content consciously.

However, in the past few weeks, after I started off the Niche marketing experiment, I was exploring options for cost effective writing solution. After all, when you move from 1 blog to 2 and 2 to 4 and 4 to 8, you need a solution to manage the content part. It so happened that, when I was exploring my options, I came across PLR content again. This time I decided to take a deeper look.

I checked out a few services and zeroed on PLRPro.com run by Daniel Turner and Marc Lindsay. I cannot tell you why, but I could sense honesty in them. Plus, they were offering a $1 trial. I signed up, downloaded one of the packs and the VRE Guide and to avoid any abuse on my part, I canceled the subscription. It would be unfair to download 440 articles for $1.

I admit the quality of their articles is very good. Anyways, I took out 2 articles from the pack of 40 I downloaded and decided to do a mini experiment. I opened up an article, timed myself and sat to re-write it. When I finished the job, I checked the time to see I had taken about 8 minutes to complete it. I moved over to the next article and repeated the process. This time it took me about 10 minutes to complete the re-writing job.

I then went ahead and open up DupeFree Pro and compared the Original Article 1 and my re-write. Here is the result.

The first article, when compared to the re-write had a difference of about 93%. DupeFree Pro showed similarity of 7.065%. Here is the second article.

This time, the difference is about 94%, which means a 6% similarity. According to experts, there should be at least a 30% difference to make an article look acceptable, while the respected level is 72%. In under 10 minutes, I was able to perform better.

This experiment honestly has given me a new perception about PLR content. I can suddenly sense a myriad of possibilities. Okay, not really myriad, but I can see profits in these article packs. The primary usage being Niche marketing. Re-writing really isn’t that difficult. I was able to re-write articles almost completely in 18 minutes.

Do you have any experience with PLR content?

Visit any popular Social Media site or blog and there definitely will be a post about Digg and the “Digg Effect”. By all means, I respect and agree with these thoughts. A front page exposure on Digg can get you as little as 10,000 visitors in a day or as much as 80,000 visitors in one day. Again, a article popularized by StumbleUpon can get you streams of visitors for many weeks. A few my articles written in the beginning of last month still get me hundreds of visitors even today.

I have never been on the front page of Digg. There was one time I came close and the hypocrites there banned me. Maybe they do not tolerate Quality content anymore. I mean it. I have seen stale contents getting on the front page of Digg. Pretty sad.

I am beginning to wonder if too much stress is laid on these 2 communities. I rarely hear anyone talking about a community like Reddit or Propeller or Newsvine. I am also wondering if it is because of the massive numbers that the above 2 communities deliver, that they literally drown the other smaller Social distribution channels.

I am a big fan of Shoutwire, a small but popular Social community, and actually one of the first websites for Social interaction and individual freedom of Speech. I first came across Shoutwire in early 2006 and honestly, I was pretty impressed by the plethora of contents. Their topics cover from business to politics to entertainment to Lifestyle and more.

Okay, back to my main point. I have had 4 articles from blogs featured in Shoutwire. The first 3 articles got 2000 visitors each in less than 24 hours. Upon analysis, I have to say, the visitors were not really the useless types that comes from Digg, but really read my article and many of them left comments, both positive and negative.

3 days back, one of my articles made it to the front page. This was the 4th in line. This story got me an unusual 4000+ visitors in less than 48 hours. My story was on the front page for over 24 hours and got heavily shouted and of course bashed.

I use 3 analytics program to gain an insight into the visitor averages. Google Analytics is one of them. I will cover them in another article, another time. Google Analytics recorded 3758 visitors in a period of 40 hours. Program 2 recorded 4117 visitors in the same period. Program 3 recorded 4431 visitors. I consider 4000 to be the rough average. That is 4000 visitors in a period of 40 hours. Definitely not bad.

It has been the same in the past 2. The previous 3 articles took 19, 20, and 22 votes respectively to be pushed to frontpage. It was definitely worth the effort.

I am pretty sure, I will use Shoutwire for a long time to satisfy my traffic needs. Certain people are worried about the critical nature of Shoutwire members, but I really am not. I love criticism and really feast on it. It has helped me a lot in growing up to becoming what I am today.
