The Politics Of Blogging

With plenty of recent uproar in the blogging world, it seems that there has been some kind of evolution going on. Everywhere we look there are more and more bloggers that don’t follow the old schools of blogging anymore. These men and women mean business and they don’t shut up about it either. In some instances business actually means directly attacking other bloggers for what they stand for and what they do. This has created a huge rift, both in the general make money blogging industry and in internet marketing terms. A-list bloggers such as John Chow, Darren Rowse, Yaro Starak and Shoemoney are but a few who got “attacked” by other bloggers who simply don’t share their views on how they do business online.

The Multiple Streams of Income Myth

This is one topic that has been over-hyped by Internet Marketers for nearly a decade now. I have personally been seeing it since past 7 years. Right from the time I entered the Internet Business industry, I have seen this being talked about over and over again.

So, is Multiple Streams of Income really a myth? How many success stories have you heard where people were earning from multiple sources, some passive and some active? How many sources are you personally earning from? Many of the people I met in the beginning, who were all hyped about this syndrome, are still in their day jobs and haven’t made a red cent from the gazillion opportunities of the Internet.

Sunday Blogbits – The Power of Focus

I took this weekend off for some introspection. My wife had gone to her friend’s place with the kids and so I decided it was time to look within andPower of Focus explore. Often, in the pursuit of wealth and abundance, we forget the fundamental necessities of our lives.

In my exercise, the one positive characteristics I noticed, I developed was the power to focus. My introspection contained the questions “What is it that keeps me going?, How have I tackled life after the breakdown of my health?”, etc and I realized I had developed a powerful feature inside me. The Power to Focus.

Review Thursday – An appeal to my readers

I did not find any product worthy of a review this week. I admit, there are many worthwhile products in the market, and I do have a few of them. The reason why I am not reviewing them is lack of experiments. I want to try and experiment a product before I can review it. I know this isn’t possible always, but I will try to follow this principle for as long as I can.

So, all said and done, we are without a review this week. Let me use this excuse to get a break. By the way, before I close, 1. I believe Google Reader is down and not syndicating the feeds. So, if you have subscribed to my blog using Google, you may have received this late. Look for a backup! 2. Please try and leave a comment after you read my posts. This has a greater purpose than just a few lines.

A Look into the Private Label Rights Industry

Lately, I have been reading a bit about the Private Label Rights industry. In the writers network, it is popularly referred to as PLR content. When I came across this industry for the first time, I had completely discredited them, primarily due to the duplicate content theory.

In the case of PLR content, the problem is even bigger. You join a PLR membership site and share a pack of articles every month with anywhere between 200-1500 members. It is duplicate content problem multiplied because each one is paying for the content consciously.

However, in the past few weeks, after I started off the Niche marketing experiment, I was exploring options for cost effective writing solution. After all, when you move from 1 blog to 2 and 2 to 4 and 4 to 8, you need a solution to manage the content part. It so happened that, when I was exploring my options, I came across PLR content again. This time I decided to take a deeper look.
