Pepperjam Network Reaches Top 5 Status in 5 Short Months

About to launch a new product? Take some lessons from the Pepperjam Network. 5 months after launch, Marketing Sherpa has recognized Pepperjam as one of the top 5 affiliate networks. This is no easy task when you are competing in a world of long time networks like Commission Junction and Linkshare.

17.5% of marketers that participated in the Marketing Sherpa survey use Pepperjam. Commission Junction still dominates the affiliate network market with over 50% of marketers surveyed using their service. But with the tremendous growth of Pepperjam, it’ll be interesting to see how those stats look in another 18 months.

A Second Update on Micro Niche Finder

Micro Niche Finder ReviewJames from Micro Niche Finder emailed yesterday announcing the upcoming update for Micro Niche Finder. It is not often that I am convinced about a marketing related product. Micro Niche Finder has won my heart. I have written about it extensively in my previous posts.

James had emailed link to a video of the new features in version 3. I take my hats off to the guy for the kinda work he has done on the software. The new version is going to be released next week and sadly James has decided to increase the price from $67 to $97. He is serious about the new price. The software is worth more than that.

Review Thursday – Search Engine College

Please read my Affiliate Review policy before you go ahead.

According to MSN Career, Search Engine Optimization is one of the 4 most sought after jobs today. You will agree with me, when I say that Search Engine Optimization is one of the key foundation stones for a successful business online. There is nothing like organic traffic from Search Engines. They are precise, focused and with a purpose.

A career in the Search Engine world can be very lucrative and rewarding, both financially and psychologically. The perks that come with SEO job are numerous. At a corporate level, SEOs are paid as much as $150,000 a year, no kidding, with a starting salary of at least $25,000. Are we all so-called Search marketers qualified for this type of reward? No, definitely not. Can we prepare ourselves for it? Yes, definitely.

Review Thursday – Wordpress SEO Plugin

Last week and the beginning of this week, I had penned a couple posts on Search Engine Optimization rules according to Dan Thies. Dan stresses a lot on Google Pagerank and has developed his First, Second and Third Tier theory as well as advanced techniques like the Third Level Push and Circular Navigation for better Pagerank control within a site. I know it sounds like Rocket Science. Initially I felt the same too. Terminologies always confuse. In short Dan’s techniques helps you gain Pagerank on any page you want to and avoid the pages you do not want, while getting you better rankings in the Search Engines.

For many of us, basic Search Engine Optimization itself is a pain in the rear. The technicalities involved in the game can be very challenging and at times, sensitive. At a stage like that, to think of someone like Dan Thies and his SEO strategies can simply be overwhelming, if not scary.

I have some good news for you. You better believe it when I say Good news. But, before I proceed, as always, please read my Affiliate Review Policy. I do not review to make a quick buck, but to help you, my readers, make an informed decision.

Review Thursday – Web2Submitter

In this week’s edition of review Thursday, I bring you Web2Submitter, a software that supposedly reduces your Web 2.0 promotion time by many many hours a week. It is basically a Syndicating tool; in other words, a social bookmarker.

I have owned this software for the past 6 months. Before we go ahead, please take a moment to read my Affiliate Review policy. Let’s move forward.

Web2Submitter allows you to submit to about 9 different Social sites from various niches plus Onlywire.com, a one click social submission site. The owners Brandon and Jack claim that this tool saves several hours in a week by reducing the time taken for submission. Everything basically is done from a single interface. All you have to do is click the button once to login and click again to fill in the info and click a third time to submit. As easy as 1,2,3.
