Blogrepreneur.com Has a New Owner….

My name is Brent Crouch. I am pleased to announce I am the new owner of Blogrepreneur.com. I purchased this site from Mr. Althaf Ahmed on Sitepoint a few weeks ago.

Althaf has done an excellent job of building and promoting this site. I plan to follow in his footsteps by continuing to provide excellent information and resources for those interested in starting and promoting an internet based business.

Althaf will not be a stranger around here. He is always welcome to post and plans to guest post when he has the opportunity.

If you are a subscriber, I’d love to hear from you. Drop me an email or even better, reply to this post.

    It is sad to know Althaf left. I was just getting familiar with him and enjoying his writing. I saw the Sitepoint auction and learned about his health.

    Anyways, nice to know your plans to continue the blog actively. Good Luck Brent.

    I didn’t know Althaf before I made this purchase from him on Sitepoint. I plan to stay in touch with him. He’s done an excellent job with this blog and helped make the transition to a new server a piece of cake.

    I’m hoping he’ll drop by and be a guest blogger from time to time. Anytime he wants, the offer is always open.

    About me…..hmmmm

    I’m a 32 year old father of two that lives in Middle Tennessee. My background is in engineering.

    I started my internet business out of my garage 6 - 7 years ago. I was simply selling a few products on eBay. Currently, that business has grown to over 1.3 million dollars in annual revenue with over half of it coming from my personal website. http://www.JillianDistributors.com (Jillian is my daughter)

    Building the physical product business has been rewarding, but it’s hard to enjoy vacation when you are constantly checking in and worrying about how things are going.

    About 2 years ago, I became interested in building a business I could run from anywhere in the world. This is when I started dabbling in digital products and blogging.

    The first blog I started was http://www.brentcrouch.com. I first called the blog, Brent Crouch - Best of Internet Marketing. After a while, it became very apparent that name wasn’t very fitting.

    My topics began to include everything except internet marketing related ideas. That blog has become more of a personal journal where I record notes on things of interest. Currently, the blog theme is being redesigned to reflect the new name Brent’s Online Journal.

    My expertise resides in selling physical products and some of the technical aspects of blogging and web design. My desire is to duplicate the success I’ve had on the physical product side of the house here in the blogging world.

    I’m not going to B.S. you. I don’t have some wealth of knowledge to share with you about blogging. Instead, I plan to use this blog to share with you and the other readers my journey of learning.

    I’ve spent the last few days studying all the plugins that Althaf has installed here, so I already have a few things to share. Also, the process of moving the blog from another server went without a hitch. I think some of the readers could benefit from that topic.

    I’d like to line up guest posts and interviews from more experienced bloggers like yourself. You have some great posts and I think my readers would definitely benefit from what you have to say.
